Background

Luvly’s work has been exhibited in museums and galleries across the city - the Mint Museums Uptown + Randolph, Hart Witzen Gallery, Charlotte Art League, Goodyear Arts, Toughass Crew Pop-up Gallery, and Petra’s Art Lounge. She curated exhibitions for Studio1212, Flux Galleries, and Summit Coffee NoDa. In 2020, Moon was selected to be a META Mural Residency Auditor and collaborated with four artists to create a mural documenting community needs during the pandemic. In 2021, she completed a printmaking residency with MacFly Fresh at Immersive Van Gogh. She sat on the curation board for the Talking Walls Mural Festival 2022-2024, regularly assists fellow muralists, and facilitates workshops and community painting events. Since 2020, Moon has built and installed multiple pieces around Charlotte and constantly pushes her visions in more expansive, brighter directions through creative innovation. Her installations have popped up at Rail Trail Lights in 2021 + 2022, CLT Shout in 2021 + 2022, and the Charlotte International Arts Festival in 2022.
